Danny has been in the world of music since he was at school where he studied the guitar and sang in the church and school choirs. He would spend hours poring over his parents’ record collection, listening to Otis Redding, Willson Pickett, The Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Al Green to name but a few.
Danny has studied the voice with some of the UKs best vocal teachers and has an amazing four and a half octave range, meaning he can sing as low as Ike Turner on ‘Proud Mary’ or as high as Jackie Wilson on ‘Higher and Higher’. Danny also runs his own singing company called ‘Harmonessence’ where he teaches a vocal harmony choir, small singing groups and 1-2-1 singing lessons. He is also a session singer and provided guest vocals alongside Ruby on ‘The Impellers’ new album in 2014.
